Access codes are how EVIDENT controls visibility into Exclusive and Private assets. When you receive one by email, it's an invitation to view a specific asset that isn't available on the open market.
Every access code is tied to one investor account. There are two reasons for this:
Even with another EVIDENT investor, sharing your code defeats the audit trail and may violate the terms under which you received access. If a colleague or co-investor should have access, they need to be invited separately so EVIDENT issues them their own code.
