Your portfolio page surfaces three key figures for every asset you hold. Here's what each one means.
The total cash amount you've invested in the asset to date — net of any returns. For commitment-based assets, this is the paid-in capital actually called from you (not your total commitment). For Subscription & Redemption funds, this is the total cash you've subscribed minus any redemptions made.
What your position is worth right now. For S&R funds, this is the latest NAV multiplied by your unit count. For other assets, this is based on the most recent valuation — either a third-party valuation provider or the latest secondary market price, depending on the asset.
The difference between your Current Value plus any distributions received, and your Invested Value. A positive P/L means your position has appreciated and/or paid out more than you put in. A negative P/L means the reverse.
For private market assets, the Current Value is an estimate and may differ from what you'd actually receive in a sale or redemption. Private assets are illiquid — the value displayed is a fair-value estimate, not a guaranteed exit price.
