When you access a Data Room via a direct shared link for the first time, you'll be asked to enter a one-time access code. This is a short numeric code emailed to you to confirm you control the email address you've provided.
If the code doesn't arrive within 30 seconds, you can click Request a new code to resend it. Also check your spam folder — these emails sometimes get filtered.
The code is short-lived, intended for use within a few minutes of receipt. If it expires before you enter it, just request a new one. This is separate from your account login and from the personal access codes used for Exclusive or Private assets.
