What do UBOs and directors need to do during corporate onboarding?

As part of Corporate onboarding, EVIDENT verifies the natural persons who own or direct the company. This means each of your Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBOs) — majority shareholders — and each director needs to complete their own identity and residence verification.

How it works

1. During Organisation Detail submission, you provide the names and email addresses of all majority shareholders and directors
2. Each of those individuals automatically receives an invitation email to complete their identity verification
3. They each go through a streamlined ID + residence + liveness check
4. Once all required individuals are verified, the organisation's KYB review can complete

What information you'll need

For each UBO and director: their full name, current email address, and the assurance that they're available to complete a short identity check in a reasonable time frame.
