What the status labels mean
Every asset card on EVIDENT carries a status label that tells you, at a glance, what stage the deal is at and what actions are currently available to you. Here is what each label means:
Open for commitment
The asset is currently accepting firm commitments. You can sign an Investment Agreement and commit capital. Look for the label COMMIT or Open for Commitments.
Subscription & Redemption
The asset is open-ended and you can subscribe (buy units) or redeem (sell units back) at the daily cut-off. Look for SUB & R or Subscription/Redemption.
Trade
The asset can be traded peer-to-peer on the secondary market. You can place buy or sell orders, or accept existing offers. Look for TRADE or TR.
Realized investment
The asset has reached the end of its lifecycle and proceeds have been (or are being) distributed back to investors.
An asset can be in more than one state at the same time — in that case, the data on the asset card will rotate through the relevant labels.
