What an AR does
An Authorized Representative (AR) is an individual officially designated by a company — by way of an official authorisation letter on company letterhead — to act on the company's behalf on EVIDENT.
The AR manages all key actions on the platform, including investment commitments, transactions, account funding, and withdrawals.
When you need one
Every Corporate account on EVIDENT requires an AR. You don't need one for an Individual account.
How the AR is set up
Corporate onboarding is a two-stage process: the AR completes their own personal identity verification (KYC) first, then the organisation verification (KYB) begins. The AR must upload their Authorisation Document on company letterhead, including their full name, the authority granted, the date of authorisation, and the signature of a board member or equivalent authority.
